Head on Colision Brain Injury

Plaintiff was struck head-on by defendant who was driving employer-owned pick-up truck suffering extensive coma, permanent brain damage, multiple fractures, loss of use of left arm, fractured jaw, loss of vision in left eye. Plaintiff was hospitalized for several months prior to being released for outpatient rehabilitaiton and several future surgeries. Defendant's employer claimed defendant did not have permission to be driving the pick-up truck at the time of the accident, necessitating a declaratory judgment action to determine coverage. Claim was compromised just before trial of the declaratory judgment action.

Awarded: Settled $2.6 Million
