Emelyn joined our firm in 2007 as a legal assistant to our medical malpractice litigation team.  She is one of your first points of contact as her duties include interviewing intakes, gathering medical records and bills, and setting up new case files.  Emelyn is also an asset to this firm as she is bilingual and speaks Spanish fluently.  She not only assists the medical malpractice division but also assists the entire firm in communicating with Spanish speaking clients. 

When Emelyn is not diligently tracking down medical records and bills she is taking classes in the evening pursuing a degree in accounting.  If asked what she likes most about her job, Emelyn would tell you, “I enjoy the camaraderie, teamwork, and satisfaction of getting the job done.”
